Is there a Semantide app?
Semantide is web-only for now; there is no native mobile app yet.
Several independent apps use comparable open dictionary resources, including AEdict (Android), imiwa? (iOS), Japanese (iOS and Android), Kanji Study (Android), Nihongo (iOS), and WWWJDIC for Android.
What is the word of the day?
Each day the home page highlights one common Japanese word from JMdict — a learner-friendly entry with a JLPT level. The word follows your local calendar date, with glosses in your interface language when they exist.
How do I suggest a missing word?
Japanese vocabulary comes from JMdict, Chinese from CC-CEDICT, and French or English from Wiktionary. Submit additions through the relevant upstream project; accepted updates flow into a future Semantide data refresh.
How do I report something incorrect?
Send the correction to the project responsible for that kind of data.
Word entries
For Japanese, open the entry’s Explore → Suggest a JMdict edit link. For Chinese, use the CC-CEDICT link. For French and English, use the Wiktionary link.
Kanji details
